Established in 1945, Borenstein Caterers is one of the largest in-flight caterers in North America. It provides fresh and frozen meals to more than 50 domestic and international airlines and institutions. The company operates a flight kitchen facility and offers over 15,000 meals per day. Borenstein Caterers serves kosher meals under the Regal Meal brand. The company also provides parve bakery goods and entrees. In addition, it offers special children, diabetic and low-sodium meals. Borenstein Caterers is certified by the Department of Agriculture and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. Its clients include British Airways, Alitalia, Japan Airlines, South African Airways and Northwest Airlines.
