Beechwood Continuing Care is a nonprofit senior care community in Getzville. N.Y. Beechwood offers several levels of care, including assisted living, independent retirement, transitional skilled care, short-term rehabilitation, and skilled nursing facilities. The organization comprises Bolcher Homes, Asbury Pointe, Beechwood Residence, Beechwood Nursing Home and Wesley Rehabilitation Center. All its facilities feature more than 60 private rooms with full baths, private balconies, carpeting, draperies, sheers and walk-in closets. Beechwood offers a wide variety of services to its residents, including emergency call system, 24-hour personal care, medication management, recreational activities and entertainment programs, arts and crafts, fully equipped library, weekly church and pastoral care services, and transportation for banking, shopping, cultural events and medical appointments. It also offers free residential and visitor parking, mail service and banking, gift shop and shopping services, housekeeping, laundry and labeling services, in-house physician care, prescription, and over-the-counter medications and podiatry services.
