Black Dirt Distillery

Black Dirt Distilling LLC, established in March 2012, is the first microdistillery in New York State, located in Pine Island. With a state-of-the-art facility completed in 2013, the distillery produces over 60 barrels of whiskey and applejack each week, utilizing ingredients sourced directly from the Black Dirt region.

Co-founders Jason Grizzanti and Jeremy Kidde bring years of experience in distillation and marketing, creating award-winning spirits such as Black Dirt Bourbon and Black Dirt AppleJack. Their innovative approach has resulted in a range of vibrant products that have garnered critical acclaim, including recognition at prestigious competitions like the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
