Bilinski Sausage Online has been making quality meat products for more than 75 years. Bilinski Sausage Manufacturing Company was founded in 1929 in Cohoes, N.Y. Joseph Bilinski started the company in his kitchen using only a hand-cranked sausage-grinder and stuffer and a backyard smokehouse. Bilinski made Kielbasa and sold it door-to-door and eventually went to retail stores. In 1940, the Bilinski family built a manufacturing plant to enable them to produce more kielbasa. The company had a small production kitchen, a cooler, a smokehouse and one employee. Its business gradually grew and increased the product line to include kielbasa, bologna, hot dogs and assorted loaves. In 1983, the Schonwetter family bought Bilinski's manufacturing plant and original recipes. The facilities have been updated with modern equipment and additions that allow for the production capacity of a growing company. Bilinski's produces two lines of chicken sausage, natural and certified organic.
