Beauty For Ashes Salon opened in April 2007 in Spring Valley NY. After quickly growing in business there was a need for expansion in late 2008. We relocated to Pomona NY where we remained for 5 more years. Then in late 2013 Andrea Peele (owner) made the tough decision to close due to personal reasons. However in late 2015 she saw that there was a demand for a professional hair salon being able to service the Naturally kinky, coily, curly, highly multi textured hair community and decided to reopen Beauty For Ashes Salon again, but this time in Nyack NY. Although Beauty For Ashes salon focusses on hair and beauty services we are also a holistic lifestyle brand. We believe in educating our clients, men women and children. that self acceptance key. Quality products paired with the holistic approach to hair, will allow you to achieve your healthiest head of hair. Healthy bodies produce healthy hair, and healthy minds produce a healthy spirits. We are a Curly + Natural Hair Salon, specializing in client education and satisfaction. Our specialty services range from Curly Cuts, Curly Sets, Blowouts/Silk-press, Hydrate & Define aka Wash & Go, and Twist. In addition, we offer educational services such as our Curl Therapy Boot Camp, Hair Audit, and 1 on 1 Makeup Lessons. You will leave our salon knowing how to properly care for your curls.
