History
Bear and Bird Boutique + Gallery was first established in 2007 by Amanda Magnetta-Ottati in sunny South Florida. Our original (still operating) South Florida location is a wood-floored loft perched atop the world-renowned TATE'S Comics in Lauderhill. TATE'S is huge store and an award winning pop culture mecca since 1993, make sure to stop by if you are ever happen to be visiting the Miami or Fort Lauderdale or West Palm Beach areas! We (Tate, Amanda and the 2 kids) moved from S.Florida to the capital region in the summer of 2018 in search of a new community and slower pace! I guess, in a way, we are reverse snowbirds! We love living here, for the beautiful nature, the history and the change of seasons!
