Bayside Fuel Oil Depot Corporation

Bayside Fuel Oil Depot Corporation was founded in 1937 by Sergio Allegretti as a coal and ice company. The company, which was incorporated in 1965, is a wholesaler of No. 2, No. 4 and No. 6 oils, diesel and kerosene. Bayside Fuel Oil Depot Corporation purchased its first oil terminal at Sackett Street in Brooklyn in 1965, and its second in 1984. That same year, Bayside Fuel Oil Depot Corporation established its corporate headquarters on Shore Parkway in Brooklyn, N.Y. Over the years, the company purchased three more terminals that all operate in Brooklyn. The combined businesses experienced enough growth to be ranked the 129th largest privately-held business by Crain's New York magazine. In addition to Bayside s five terminals, the company sells products at three other locations via throughput agreements.
