Bay Ridge Dojo, located in Brooklyn, NY, has been serving the community since 1966, offering private or group classes in martial arts. With a focus on instilling confidence through self-defense and training the mind and body, Bay Ridge Dojo provides highly energized workouts and effective self-defense instruction in Niseido Ju Jitsu. Led by experienced and qualified instructors, the classes incorporate striking techniques, judo throws, grappling, strangulation, and joint locking techniques, ensuring students are well-prepared to defend themselves against real-life street attacks. The dojo is owned by Michael Junsch and Nicasio Alonso, both highly respected and accomplished martial artists. Grandmaster Junsch holds a 10th degree black belt in Niseido Ju Jitsu and is Chairman of the Board of Professors of the Niseido Ju Jitsu Federation. Grandmaster Alonso, on the other hand, holds a 9th degree black belt in Niseido Ju Jitsu and a 2nd degree black belt in Judo. With their extensive knowledge and experience, they have gained recognition nationwide and have been inducted into the Martial Arts Hall of Fame.
