Barbara Davis-Thompson, LCSW, MA is a New York City based psychotherapist in private practice in NY, NY for over 31 years. She has a MA in Rehabilitation Counseling from NYU and a MSW from Fordham University. Over the course of her career, she has studied various modalities such as EMDR, EFT, EFT for couples, AEDP, Coherence Therapy, Attachment studies, Jungian shadow work, 2.5 years of advanced hypnosis training, a 2 year post masters degree in addiction studies, 8 years attending a psychodynamic institute, Ro-Hun therapy, Lucia light training, CBT, and hundred of hours in diverse trainings synthesizing the best of each modality in order to support her clients to make the changes they seek.
