Located just a short distance from downtown Saranac Lake, visitors can easily access the trailhead by walking or biking from the town center. Tried to hike but it was so icy, we turned around. We weren't prepared with right footwear. Only enough parking for about 3 cars.
Our first hike of the trip. It was a nice 2 hour hike to top of mountain with a good payoff view (but not great).
