History

Bailey Slipper Shop derives its name from its roots on Bailey Avenue, where it began as a family shoe store in 1929. Shortly after, an area dance teacher inquired about the possibility of carrying some dance footwear, and a small dance section was added to the store. Since that time, it has grown and evolved into the full-service, multi-location specialty dance boutique it is today. We have Bailey Slipper Shop locations in suburbs of both Buffalo and Rochester, NY to serve you. With all of the changes throughout the years, the one thing that has remained the same is our first-class service. Our commitment to professional shoe fittings by well-trained associates continues to set us apart.
