2144 Route 9
Keeseville, NY 12911
Known as the Grand Canyon of the Adirondacks, Ausable Chasm is a sandstone gorge that offers incredible views, various hiking trails, and waterfalls. There are five miles of mild to moderate hiking trails for you to explore and are open year round. In the summer (May to October), enjoy a raft tour or tubing along the Ausable river to beat the heat. Test your adventurous side by booking a guided rock climb and/or rappel, great for all skill levels. If that is not enough, dare to traverse our unique via ferrata course suspended 60 to 80 feet above the Ausable river. (Be sure to check our website for current information on open and close times, activity availability and latest news.)

This place is the best. Great for families. Do the explorer package with river walk...ropes bridges are awesome. Boat is mild, it's not white water rafting. Very safe. Go here and enjoy!

A little pricey for a hike, but still a beautiful place to visit. We are not hikers and we were still able to do the smallest course. A beautiful place to just soak it all in
