Augustine Diji is the founder and president of Aline Restructuring Group, Ltd., a New York City based real estate consulting firm that provides consulting services to residential and commercial property owners seeking to modify existing mortgage loans. Mr. Diji works with property owners facing a mortgage loan default or foreclosure. He is author of the book Strategic Default: How to Create a Brighter Financial Future for Yourself, your Family, and your Business and the blog www.strategicdefault.org. Mr. Diji is a founder of and director of compliance and sales with Luxor Homes and Investment Realty, a New York City-based boutique real estate brokerage. At Luxor Mr. Diji works with distressed property owners seeking to sell their property, including the short sale of their property. He earned a dual bachelor's degree in psychology and economics from Stony Brook University in New York and a Juris Doctorate from Case Western University School of Law. He was a practicing attorney for 16 years prior to entering real estate and business consulting full-time.
