History

I started my original dogwalking and petsitting service in the Fort Greene / Clinton Hill area of Brooklyn where I lived. I had many years of of loyal clients and had long term dogs and cats I grew very fond of and spent years walking and caring for them. My partner Steve moved in with me 2013 and already had an established dogwalking business located in the Hell's Kitchen area of Manhattan he has owned for 17 years. We eventually moved to the lovely Upper East Side in late 2016 and began the process about 6 months ago of transitioning our pet care business to our new location. We renamed it Ashram Pets and we thrilled to grow and offer the same loving services in Yorkville.

In this day and age of anonymous large scale pet care services, where one never knows who is going to arrive and you never meet who will be caring for your pet, we have opted and stick to the more hands on, boutique approach. My partner and I provide all the walks, petsittting visits, and overnight in-home pet care. We pride ourselves on years of professionalism. You will get to meet us, we offer excellent references, along with daily updates and beautiful photos of how your pet is doing. In essence we become the caretakers who you know you can rely on to provide your pet the sincere individual care they deserve.
