With over 30 years of experience in education, we provide students on the autism spectrum an environment where programs and services are customized around their individual needs. We understand that each child is unique and create individually customized programs that promote student success at school, in the community, and at home.

Smithtown Christian School is accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International and approved by the Middle States Accrediting Association of Colleges. Founded in 1978, it serves more than 600 students in kindergarten through grade six. The school offers an academic curriculum that includes various subjects, such as English, math, science and social studies. Smithtown Christian School also offers a range of extracurricular programs in art, music, computer science, Bible study, and health and physical education. In addition, it conducts foreign language programs in Spanish. The school also supports several sports activities, such as soccer, volleyball, basketball, softball, cheerleading and swimming. Smithtown Christian School is located in Smithtown, N.Y.

Variety Child Learning Center, founded in 1966 and located in Syosset, N.Y., is a nonprofit center providing child development programs and special education services to young children and their families. It offers services to children with learning disabilities, autism, developmental disorders and behavior problems. The organization provides special education programs and services at no cost to families living in Nassau, Suffolk and Queens counties in New York. It also offers support services for families, and research and training of early childhood personnel. VCLC provides special programs and services on- and off-site. It offers programs in local nursery schools, child care centers and school districts. It additionally offers Sunday respite care, social skills training groups, cultural arts performances, and applied research and training for early childhood personnel.
