Ankit Mehta

P. Stephen Oh, MD is Assistant Professor of Surgery in the division of Pediatric Surgery and Pediatric Trauma at Weill Cornell Medical College and Assistant Attending Surgeon at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center. He practices at NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group queens located in Fresh Meadows, NY. Dr. Oh specializes in pediatric minimally invasive surgery, including advanced endoscopic, laparoscopic and thoracoscopic techniques. He enjoys a wide range of clinical interests and expertise, including neonatal and congenital anomalies, pediatric general and thoracic surgery, pediatric gastrointestinal surgery, extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) and pediatric surgical oncology.Dr. Oh is fluent in Spanish and Korean. He received his undergraduate degree from the Johns Hopkins University in 2002. He earned his Master of Science degree from Georgetown University in 2003 and his medical degree from New York Medical College in 2007. He completed residency in general surgery at New York Presbyterian - Columbia University in 2013. During his residency, he completed a research fellowship at the Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital of Columbia University in the laboratory of Dr. Robert Cowles. He performed research on short bowel syndrome and complex intestinal reconstruction with intestinal lengthening. Dr. Oh then went on to complete a two year clinical fellowship in pediatric surgery at the Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital of Columbia University.He is an active member of many prestigious medical and surgical societies, including the American College of Surgeons, the American Pediatric Surgical Association, the American Academy of Pediatrics, and the International Pediatric Endosurgery Group. He is also currently a reviewer for the Journal of Pediatric Surgery Case Reports. He has published numerous peer-reviewed journal articles and abstracts. He has also been invited to present his research findings at a number of national and international scientific conferences.

Dr. Sabiha Merchant is a Child Neurologist practicing at NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Queens located in Fresh Meadows, NY. She received her medical degree from Dr. D.Y. Patil Medical College Shivaja University, completed her residency in Pediatrics at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist, her fellowship in Child Neurology and a two year fellowship in Epilepsy. Dr. Merchant specializes in Pediatrics, Child Neurology, and Pediatric Neurology with expertise in tic disorder, movement disorder, pediatric epilepsy, tourette syndrome, and neurometabolic disorder.Dr. Merchant is an Attending Physician in Neurology and Pediatrics at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital Weill Cornell Medical Center and an Assistant Professor at Weill Cornell Medical College in the Division of Child Neurology. She also serves as Director of the Pediatric Neurophysiology fellowship at Weill Cornell.

Dr. Libi Galmer is a board certified Orthopedist practicing at NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Queens located in Jackson Heights, New York. She received her medical degree from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, completed her internship in 2010 and her residency in 2013 at NewYork-Presbyterian Columbia and NewYork-Presbyterian Cornell. Dr. Galmer is certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the American Board of Integrative Holistic Medicine. Her areas of interest are physical medicine and rehabilitation, womens musculoskeletal health, integrative and regenerative orthopedics including prolotherapy, platelet-rich plasma injections and bone marrow aspirate concentration injections.
