Dr. Wang graduated from Columbia University with a B.A. in Musicand Pre-Medical Studies. She received her medical degree fromGeorgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, DC. Dr.Wang completed her internship in General Surgery and residencytraining in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at New YorkPresbyterian Hospital, the University Hospitals of Columbia andCornell. During residency, she received the Shain Schley ResidentTeaching Award, as well as a research award for her work inexamining HPV in unknown primary cancer of the neck.Dr. Wang has presented at national meetings, and has beenpublished in several peer reviewed journals. Her clinical interestsinclude allergic rhinitis, sinusitis, adenoid and tonsil disease,hearing loss and ear infections, and other ear, nose and throat disorders. While at Georgetown, he received the Hugh O. DeFries Award for Lifetime Learning. After residency, Dr. Tassler completed a fellowship in Advanced Oncologic Head and Neck Surgery and Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh. Prior to joining the faculty at Weill Cornell, Dr. Tassler practiced for five years at Montefiore Medical Center where he was Assistant Professor of Otorhinolaryngology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Tassler has been awarded for resident teaching at both Montefiore and Weill Cornell Medical Center. He has been selected as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor every year since 2017 and a New York Super Doctor every year since 2022.Dr. Tassler is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, the American Head and Neck Society, the New York Head and Neck Society, and the North American Skull Base Society. He is also an active fellow of the American College of Surgeons.Dr. Tassler has a particular interest in minimally invasive techniques in head and neck surgery including transoral laser (TLM) and robotic surgery (TORS) as well as endoscopic skull base surgery but practices the full scope of head and neck surgery.
