History

Andrade Shoe Repair is a family run business that has been part of the upper west side community for over 30 years. Fernando Andrade inherited his trade, from the matriarch of the family his father Cesar Andrade.He was a skilled craftsman that started his cobbler career at the age of 17 in Quito Ecuador back in 1932. Fernando Andrade is one of 11 brothers and sisters who truly took advantage of the family business and moved their families to America, to peruse a better life. Today the business is run by Anthony Conigliaro the son in-law, who also comes from a family of cobblers from Italy. Anthony's great grandfather was a very skilled cobbler back in Palermo, Sicily in the early 1900's. The true value of Andrade Shoe Repair is based on the fact that you have skilled, knowledgeable staff attending to your needs while utilizing the most up to date technology to keep you leather goods in amazing shape.Our business is dedicated and takes pride in doing the best job possible.
