Troy Belting and Supply, located in Watervliet, N.Y., provides power transmission, power distribution, material handling, motor sales and service, and related specialized equipment and services to the industrial, mining and commercial customers in the Northeast United States. Its products include bearings, power transmission and motion control products, industrial supplies, industrial rubber, idlers, pulleys and hoists. Troy Belting & Supply Company was founded in 1862 as a supplier of power transmission equipment to companies in eastern New York. Today, the company is divided into two divisions: Troy Belting & Supply, the industrial distributor; and Troy Motor Service, a full-service electro mechanical repair facility.

Greno Industries has been manufacturing precision parts for a variety of industries since 1961, which include the power and transportation industries. The company started as an industrial supply company. GIS Tool started out by manufacturing high-speed steel and carbide-tipped cutting tools. During the mid-1970s, the company developed a high pressure and temperature safety valve for the United States Navy, which has been used on more than 400 U.S. Navy ships to enhance performance and reliability. Over a period of eight years, every non-nuclear surface ship was retrofitted with Greno s GIS Valve. To reflect its business, the company changed its name to Greno Industries in 1982. This included its two divisions, GIS Tool and GIS Valve, as well as the supply company. Greno Industries uses raw materials, such as carbon steel, castings and forgings, refrectalloy, inconel, cobalt, nickel and stainless parts. Greno Industries is located in Scotia, N.Y.
