AMICO (America-Italian of Organizations Inc) is a non-profit organization founded in 1978 by civic leaders concerned with the well-being of Italian Americans in New York City. Their mission is to provide public and private human services to the community, regardless of race, religion, or cultural identification. AMICO offers a range of programs and services, including day trips to points of interest, health, safety, and nutrition programs, as well as supportive services for older adults.

Headed by Joan Pastore, DSW, and supported by a community board of directors, AMICO serves over 7,000 members through grants from the New York City Department for the Aging (DFTA).
