American Payroll Association

Established in 1982, the American Payroll Association is headquartered in San Antonio and has offices in New York City, Las Vegas and Washington, D.C. The nonprofit organization is one of the nation's leaders in payroll education, training and publications. It conducts more than 300 payroll education conferences and seminars throughout the United States each year and publishes a complete library of resource texts and newsletters. Every year, nearly 18,000 professionals attend APA training sessions. American Payroll Association represents more than 22,000 members and is among the leaders in the payroll industry. The organization s members are offered a variety of benefits, including compliance updates, hotline referral service, payroll education and compliance resources, representation in Washington, D.C., payroll education grants, payroll certification and APA learning centers.
