Dr Alejandro J. Torres was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and graduated from the National University of Cordoba, Argentina in 1991. He completed a residency in adult cardiology at Hospital Privado de Comunidad, Mar del Plata, Argentina. He came to the US in 1996 where he trained in Pediatric Cardiology at Mount Sinai Medical Center, NY and completed his senior fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at Children's Hospital New York-Presbyterian, Columbia University Medical Center where he has remained as a faculty attending. Dr Torres is the Director of the Pediatric Catheterization Laboratory and holds the position of Associate Professor in Pediatrics. He performs all types of transcatheter interventions in children and adult patients with congenital heart disease. He has published multiple peer-reviewed articles and co-authored several chapters in cardiovascular textbooks. Dr Torres has been an investigator for multicenter trials. He has been part of several medical missions and performed transcatheter procedures all over the world, including Greece, Dominican Republic, Cambodia, China, Senegal, and India.

She subsequently completed her residency training in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery at Boston University’s Boston Medical Center, and her fellowship in pediatric otolaryngology at the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. Dr. Jang is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and is Board Certified in Otolaryngology. She is the author or co-author of several journal articles and textbook chapters, and regularly presents her research at national meetings. She believes that every child is unique, and enjoys working with families to provide the best possible care that is right for them.
