Dr. Pintova is also investigating factors that impact goals of care discussions with patients who have advanced cancers. Dr. Pintova is involved in training medical oncology and surgical oncology fellows, emphasizing the importance of continuity of care, and is a regular lecturer on gastric cancer and pancreatic cancer. Dr. Pintova has authored a Mount Sinai Expert Guide on gastric cancer as well as numerous peer reviewed publications.
