Addiction's Counseling

Established in 1982 as The Weekend Center, the Lexington Center for Recovery, is a nonprofit organization that serves Westchester and Dutchess counties in the state of New York. It provides mental health and clinical care services to people who suffer from chemical dependency and substance abuse. The Lexington Center for Recovery also offers spiritual, anger management and relapse prevention services and conducts one-on-one counseling sessions for individuals, families and senior citizens. It provides medication monitoring, psychiatric evaluation, and vocational and educational assessment services. The organization also offers a women's intensive program that focuses on addiction recovery, parenting classes and on-site child care services for women participants with children. The Lexington Center for Recovery operates more than 15 health care units and one of its facilities is located in Poughkeepsie, N.Y.

Wayne Counseling and Family Services is a nonprofit corporation that helps individuals, families, businesses and organizations in northern New Jersey. It offers outpatient counseling services, as well as administers educational and prevention programs. The corporation serves homemakers with the vocational and social skills necessary to reenter the work force. It provides initial evaluation, group and marital therapies and divorce counseling services. Wayne Counseling and Family Services offers vocational assessment, on-site computer training and job placement solutions for women in transition. The corporation organizes several workshops for assertiveness, legal issues in separation, parenting and life skills and career development issues. It conducts substance abuse and employee assistance programs. Wayne Counseling and Family Services is located in Wayne, N.J.
