Adams Fences, an established business with more than 30 years of service in the Mid-Hudson Valley, N.Y. the company carries post and rail and chainlink dog kennels. Adams Fences is a subsidiary of Adams Fairacre Farms. Adams Fairacre Farms began in the early 1900s as a roadside farmstand in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., run by Ralph A. Adams and his family. The company has since expanded its services. It has a full-service meat department, seafood department, deli, prepared foods department, cheese department, bakery, sweet shop, gourmet grocery, gift shop, garden center and nursery. In addition to Adams Fences, other subsidiaries include Adams Landscaping and Adams Power Equipment. Adams Fences is headquartered in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., with locations in Kingston and Newburgh, N.Y.
