Founded in 1986, AIDS Center of Queens County Inc. specializes in supporting individuals and their families infected, affected and at risk for HIV/AIDS and other related conditions. Based in Long Island City, N.Y., the center conducts educational outreach through formal presentations, prevention workshops, in-service training, street outreach and distribution of education materials. It also provides food, clothing and emergency financial assistance and transportation.
