Human Rights First is a nonprofit group that works in the United States and abroad to create a secure and humane world by advancing justice, human dignity and respect for the rule of law. Immigrant Justice Corps (IJC) is dedicated to transforming immigrant justice by offering two-year Fellowships to promising new lawyers and college graduates. Through this initiative, IJC mobilizes fellows to provide vital legal services to underrepresented immigrant communities while training them to become experts in immigration law. Since its inception in 2014, IJC has served over 125,000 immigrants and their family members, training more than 500 fellows who have achieved a remarkable success rate in immigration cases. The organization empowers its fellows to save low-income clients millions in application fees, highlighting the significant impact of quality legal counsel on the lives of immigrants.
