Dr. Abdul-Aziz Ahmed is an assistant attending physician in emergency medicine at NewYork-Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center and NewYork-Presbyterian Lower Manhattan Hospital. He also practices Sports Medicine at NewYork-Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center and is an instructor in medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College.Dr. Ahmed completed his M.D. degree at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York and residency training in Emergency Medicine at St Luke’s- Roosevelt Hospital Center. She returned to the east coast, completing a Neurocritical Care fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. There, she was recognized for her compassionate patient care.Dr. Huynh has clinical expertise in advanced multimodal neurologic monitoring in the intensive care unit (ICU) and has a special interest in critical care neurophysiology. She is a member of the Neurocritical Care Society, Society for Critical Care Medicine, and the American Academy of Neurology.
