History

A Piano Grows In Manhattan began in 2010 with musician Andrew Hoepfner teaching piano lessons in Brooklyn. The name of our service at that time was A Piano Grows In Brooklyn. Through our quality lessons and the fantastic recitals performed by our students, our service became more popular and is now a team of two teachers, with Sarah Bernstein allowing us to expand our reach to Manhattan. We offer our lessons under this new name in order to celebrate our borough-spanning service.

Specialties

Accepting piano students of all ages in Manhattan for in-home lessons and lessons at our location in Harlem. Whether you're interested in reading sheet music or learning your favorite pop songs by ear, we can take you there.
