Originally only Volkswagen models were serviced. We started with a 2 bay garage. Since 1979 we have expanded to include all models of European, Asian & Domestic vehicles ( excluding hybrid vehicles ). We now have 11 bays to service your vehicle. Our telephone number is the same since 1959, as well as our location.
Specialties
European models of Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Volvo, BMW & Volkswagen. We also offer repairs on Volvo, Saab & Asian vehicles. Domestic vehicles are welcome, too. We also offer New York State Inspections, Wheel Alignments & Collision Repairs.

A-1 was always my go to place to service my European car! Friendly, honest and reliable! So sad to drive by what use to be their lot in Inwood and see it completely empty!
