WIndrush Alpacas is a friendly family alpaca farm located in Clovis, New Mexico. Founded in 1999 by Rosemary and Ric Metcalf, Windrush Alpacas is backed by over 15 years of industry experience. The operation and management of the alpacas, farm and business are performed by Rosemary and Ric. By maintaining day to day contact with their alpaca herd Rosemary and Ric are able to provide an individual level of care for each alpaca in their herd. Their unique bond with the alpaca herd enables them to keep their herd healthy and happy with minimal stress to the alpacas. Happy alpacas are healthy alpacas! Every animal at Windrush Alpacas is treated as a special member of our family. We provide our clients with mentoring and support throughout the years, guiding them in the care of their alpacas and the creation of a profitable, fulfilling lifestyle. As with any business, raising alpacas has it's ups and downs and we will be with you along the way. Through our commitment, experience and expertise Windrush Alpacas has established a relationship with our customers that lasts a lifetime. In addition to our alpaca breeder clients we also aim to educate the public to alpacas and introduce them to the wonderful world of alpacas and the beauty of alpaca products. We do this by opening our farm to the public on the second Saturday of every month. Admission to Open Farm Days is free. Alpacas appeal to all ages so bring your family to Open Farm Day and meet the alpacas.
