Turquoise Trail Volunteer Fire Department
The Turquoise Trail Volunteer Fire District, established in 1969, is responsible for providing fire and emergency medical services to the San Marcos area and the Town of Cerrillos in central Santa Fe County, New Mexico. With three stations strategically located, the district responds to over 400 calls per year and receives aid from various agencies, including the City of Santa Fe and NM State Forestry.
Starting with old used equipment, the district has grown over the years, adding new stations, vehicles, and expanding its coverage area. The volunteers and auxiliary members of the Turquoise Trail Fire District take pride in their service and are grateful to the former members and supporters who have contributed to its success.
