Fascinating place, enjoyed my visit. Having grown up reading about the Wild West and those that lived through it I would throughly recommend

The Tunstall Store Museum in Lincoln, New Mexico is a historic building that was originally established in 1878 by Englishman John H. Tunstall as a mercantile business to rival the L. G. Murphy Company. The adobe structure, which is listed on the National Historic Register and the State Register of Cultural Properties, features original 19th-century merchandise displays and a wooden porch along its south façade.
Over the years, the store has served various purposes and been owned by different individuals, including the Roswell Trading Co. and John M. Penfield. Today, the Tunstall Store Museum faces structural issues due to its lack of foundation, causing shifting in the walls, as well as drainage problems. Restoration work is needed to address stucco repairs, windows, and exterior wood trim.
