Ambiance is great, very historic with bullet holes in ceiling, but food is not very good. Maybe just stick with the burgers if you eat here. The chile rellenos were terrible.

I've eaten here every trip to Philmont. Had a great lunch this year in May. Was Disappointed this summer in July. My favorite rib eye was overcooked, dry, & tough. Giving it a second chance...
