The Institute of the Southwest
History
In 2011, best-selling author, facilitator and mentor, Wayne Muller and his wife, Kelly Wendorf, celebrated horse-woman, educator and mentor, launched the Institute of the Southwest in Santa Fe, New Mexico, as a culmination of their over-70-years experience in working in circle, engaging in social change and community learning, and transforming lives through awareness and inquiry. The Institute is one of the first organizations of its kind that directly addresses the growing tension between the metric story and the human narrative story, and does so within a model that is circular with a moveable hierarchy and approaches transformation through learning.
