Star Axis is an architectonic earth star sculpture created by artist Charles Ross, designed to reflect the geometry of the stars through precise earth-to-star alignments. The sculpture, which is currently under construction in New Mexico, features five main elements that provide visitors with an intimate experience of the earth's connection to celestial phenomena.

Conceived in 1971 and initiated in 1976, Star Axis stands 11 stories high and spans a tenth of a mile across, built with granite and sandstone. The project is overseen by the Land Light Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to fundraising for its completion, with an anticipated opening projected for 2027 or 2028.
