I did my tailoring apprenticeship with my grandmother. I was independently making tailored clothing by age 18. After a few years of corporate experience to include Gap Corporation and Robert R Bailey clothiers, I decided to become self employed. In addition to being self-employed, I am Program Head for Fashion Design, and the Program Head for Performing Arts at Santa Fe Community College.

Seams Unusual is a custom tailor shop and fashion design house, and has been in business in Santa Fe since 1990. In addition to custom clothing, I also do alterations and repairs to include reweaving, reknitting and fine tailor's patches. Because of a very busy schedule, this is a By-Appointment-Only business. He said he was adept at reweaving and designer repairs but he is a phony and he work is amatur at best. Difficult to get in touch with post work..BUYER BEWARE!
