The Church of the Good Shepherd, United Church of Christ in Albuquerque, NM is a welcoming and inclusive community that offers a variety of services and programs for individuals of all ages. Led by Pastor Sarah, the church believes in contemporary theology and holds worship services on Sundays via Zoom and YouTube, as well as Bible study sessions on Tuesdays. They also actively engage in outreach, music, and volunteer activities to serve their diverse global community. In addition, the church collaborates with the UCC SW Conference and occasionally joins First Congregational UCC for special worship services and events. They recently hosted a worship service to honor Black History Month, featuring guest speaker Rev. Dr. Yvonne Delk, who also held a forum and book signing for her work on Afro-Christian Convention, the Fifth Stream of the United Church of Christ. Sandia Presbyterian Church is a multigenerational congregation located in Albuquerque, N.M. The church operates through Sunday classes, inquiry class, disciple courses, covenant groups, college age, young adults, seniors, men and women ministries. It assists people in marriage and family matters, depression, life transition and grief resolution. The church also offers a six-week divorce recovery workshop which provides emotional supports and helps in making important decisions. St. Peters belongs to the Holy Catholic Church Anglican Rite which certainly all well and good, but what does that mean exactly?The Holy Catholic Church Anglican Rite is Catholic, because it accepts the doctrines of the ancient Church, which have been "believed everywhere, always, and by all."We are, obviously, Catholic Christians, but not Roman Catholics. Christians in the Eastern and Western Rites of the Orthodox Church would claim to be Catholics. But, by virtue of that claim, they would not consider themselves to be Roman Catholics.
