Dr. Mark A. Rasmussen has been practicing in Santa Fe for 30 years. He sees all age groups as early as 3 years of age thru adulthood. For many patients, he works closely with their personal physicians to follow up regarding eye conditions like diabetes and the effects on their eyes. By specializing in glaucoma, he is an expert for detecting signs for glaucoma for those who are at risk, and helps those with glaucoma care for their eyes & managing the disease. Dr. Rasmussen also works with kids through vision therapy. He has assisted children with amblyopia, as well. Dr. Rasmussen is a graduate from the University of Houston. He is a proud member of the American Optometric Association AOA & New Mexico Optometric Association NMOA. He rides a Harley Davidson & loves to travel.
