La Clinica De Familia

Established in 1978, La Clinica de Familia operates various community health centers with the initiative of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. It was started as a migrant health initiative of the Health Education Livelihood Program, which provides migrant head start programs and medical services for migrant workers. La Clinica de Familia operates various medical and dental centers in New Mexico. Its services include diagnosis and treatment, immunization, minor in-office surgery, family planning, and migrant and diabetes health education. Its centers also offer emergency, basic and preventive dental services. La Clinica de Familia is a member of the National Association of Community Health Centers. It maintains its administrative office in Las Cruces, N.M.
