I was on the air at KRSN in 1979, fresh from broadcast school in Hollywood. Loved the station, Mr burns was the owner. FM side was 98.5. 7387 feet above sea level.

History
KRSN is the heritage Radio Station for Los Alamos and was born as part of the Manhattan Project in 1945. In the 65 years since its birth KRSN AM 1490 has served the citizens of the Pajarito Plateau and the Northern Rio Grande Valley with a quality radio forum in the tradition of independently owned and operated.
Specialties
We are Los Alamos's radio station broadcasting to the Pajarito Plateau. Our listenership includes Los Alamos, Santa Fe, Espanola and the commuter triangle. Our programming is to entertain and inform our listening public through locally produced and syndicated shows in which local interests are captured. We are supported by businesses purchasing advertising.
