Friends of Libraries and Literacy Rio Rancho, Inc. is a volunteer-driven nonprofit organization established in 1982, dedicated to supporting libraries and funding literacy programs for children, teens, and adults in Sandoval County, New Mexico. The organization raises funds through the sale of community-donated books and media at their FriendShop locations.
In addition to providing resources like the Books for Babies program, which aims to equip new parents with age-appropriate reading materials, the Friends host various community events, including author readings and educational workshops. Their initiatives, such as free book coupons for students and adult computer literacy classes, reflect a commitment to fostering a love for reading and enhancing literacy in the community.

I come from Seattle, the land of reading and libraries, but we don't have a friends of the library bookstore anything quite like this. This is an excellent used book store with a huge selection.
