The Desert Wind is a longstanding oasis nestled on the high desert plains of northwestern New Mexico, serving the local community for over seventy years. With a range of facilities including a gymnasium, public laundromat and showers, K-12 Accelerated Christian Education school, and more, this mission provides essential services and support to the People. From hosting mission teams and offering opportunities to serve, to providing rest and recharge programs, The Desert Wind welcomes individuals and groups to contribute their gifts and talents in various ways.

Located at an elevation of 7,000 feet above sea level, The Desert Wind experiences a unique climate with temperatures ranging from 15 below zero to mild summer nights in the low 50s. Whether engaging in volunteer work projects or building much-needed structures, visitors can find their place in this vibrant mission.
