Eunice is a city in Lea County, New Mexico, United States. The population was 2,562 at the 2000 census. The mayor of Eunice, as of April 2007, is Matt White. Ground was broken for construction of a National Enrichment Facility, which uses Zippe-type centrifuge technology, to enrich uranium in August, 2006. In June of 2010, the enrichment facility, owned by URENCO USA, commenced operations.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 2.9 square miles (7.6 km²), of which 99.66% of it is land and 0.34% is water.
