Dexter High School

Located in Dexter, N.M., Dexter High School enrolls students in grades 9 through 12. Its curriculum includes classes in math, general science, English, physics, biology, history, and fine and performing arts. The school provides academic programs in business computer applications, music history and appreciation, and agriculture, food and nutrition resources. It also maintains a library and media center that includes a collection of books and reference and instructional materials. The school offers various programs in sports, including weightlifting, baseball and softball. It employs a counselor and school nurse, as well as provides special education classes. In addition, the school conducts a variety of activities that includes fundraising events, student day, and parent and teacher visitation sessions. Dexter High School is a part of Dexter Consolidated Schools, which also operates elementary and middle schools.
