Desert Ridge Middle School

Desert Ridge Middle School offers a variety of educational and co-curricular programs to students. It is located in Albuquerque, N.M., and is affiliated with Albuquerque Public Schools. It serves the educational needs of more than 900 students in grades six through eight. The school has various clubs that organize extracurricular activities, such as middle school band, leadership and a student council. It also has a sports club that organizes football, golf, swimming, tennis, soccer, baseball, basketball, softball and wrestling. The school organizes various sports tournaments, league matches and events. Its academic programs include several subjects, such as English, math, science, social studies, American and world history, and health and physical education. It also provides other subjects that include computer applications, arts, music, theater and drama.
