Cornucopia Adult Day Services

Adelante Development Center is a nonprofit agency that serves individuals with disabilities. It offers vocational and life skills training, community living services, volunteer opportunities and employment to more than 600 people with disabilities. The center offers day habilitation services for people with development, physical and mental disabilities. Its community living program provides people with disabilities a variety of opportunities and care levels to meet their individual needs. The center also offers supported and independent living and other home-based services. In addition, it provides ongoing training programs for its staff members. Based in Albuquerque, N.M., it supports over 700 people with disabilities in Bernalillo, Sandoval and Valencia counties in New Mexico.

Share Your Care is a nonprofit organization that specializes in providing day care services to people with Alzheimer s disease and dementia, as well as adults with developmental disabilities and mental illnesses. Founded in 1975, the organization operates more than five facilities in New Mexico and serves over 200 people annually. It provides respite care, supervision, information and referral, transportation, personal assistance, care coordination and health screening services, as well as social and recreational activities. Share Your Care accepts Medicaid and other insurance programs. It is accredited by the Commission for Accreditation for Rehabilitation Facilities.
