In response to the current concerns over Coronavirus (COVID-19) and the presidential declaration of emergency, Gila Regional Medical Center is enacting our emergency preparedness plan. We are dedicated to caring for all members of our community both sick and healthy. In order to reduce the risk of spreading and contracting of the COVID-19 virus we have implemented several changes to our current operating policies. Silver Health CARE offers health care services for bladder, strep throat, ear and nose infections. It also provides treatment for patients suffering from high fever, fractures, sprains and minor injuries. The facility has more than 10 employees, including a podiatrist, pediatrician, internists and certified nurses. Silver Health CARE also performs blood pressure and glucose checks, as well as oxygen saturations. The facility additionally offers laboratory, X-ray and DEXA scan services. It also offers services for strokes, animal bites, head injuries, physical assaults, seizers, domestic abuse and chest pain. Silver Health CARE additionally provides migraine control, earwax removal and rehabilitative services. The facility conducts in-house tests for diabetes, ulcer, bone density, and kidney and liver failures. Silver Health CARE is located in Silver City, N.M.
