Citizens Bank

Citizens Bank is one of the United States' largest, independently owned bank and has served the four corners-area for more than a 100 years. Founded in Aztec, N.M., in 1905, Citizens Bank expanded to Farmington, N.M., in the early 1950's and then to Bloomfield, N.M., in 1966. Citizens Bank has six banking offices, with four in Farmington and one each in Aztec and Bloomfield and is one of the largest financial institutions operating in San Juan County, offering loans, deposit and electronic services. It is locally owned, with the largest shareholder being the Employee Stock Ownership Plan. The Bank also maintains an experienced lending staff, offering a full range of commercial, real estate and consumer loans. Headquartered in Farmington, N.M., Citizens Bank employs nearly 125 people at its corporate office.
