The Castaneda Hotel is a historic property located in Las Vegas, New Mexico, that reopened its doors in April 2019 after a comprehensive rehabilitation that began in 2018. Originally built in 1898, it was the first trackside hotel by Fred Harvey and features twenty-two uniquely decorated rooms, each showcasing Victorian antiques and named after animals or significant Fred Harvey sites.
Situated along Amtrak's Southwest Chief line, the hotel offers a glimpse into America's hospitality history, with a spacious 30,000 square feet of area, including a 500-foot-long arcade.
